I see that you're still waiting for this account to activate fully as this is still pre-provisioned. I have assisted another customer with this as he also used a broadband SIM. As he couldn't make a call to activate the SIM, he just inserted the SIM into a mobile device, topped it up by €10 and connect to the internet.
Once he was connected, he took the SIM out, inserted this into the other device and it worked perfectly.
Unfortunately, the SIM has to be fully active before anything goes live on your My eir account.
