Mobile data problem (Question)

Recently joined eir, 30 euro bundle with 10GB of mobile data. I was told social media apps such as facebook and instagram, snapchat etc, werent used in your data, i was told they could be used unlimited and didnt take up any of my mobile data, went on and used my 10GB only once or twice. So i got a text today telling me that i have used up all of my monthly allowance of data. This is completely wrong as i did not use 10GB in a matter of a few days. I know i did not. Would like some help in telling me what is wrong with this
