I have received a bill and a text reminder for an account that was paid in full and closed.

    hi, i have recieved a bill on a closed account and ring the 01-7662507 number to deal with the situation but cannot get anywhere as when i enter my phone number or account the voice prompt tells me they do not exist and to try again, so stuck in a loop, this is a joke and shows are rubbish eir are.

    When the eir service was cancelled and moved to another provider there was a direct debit in place for the account and eir did not attempt to take the money out of the account to clear any outstanding amounts on the account before cancelling the account etc

    Then eir send threathing letter in realtion tomarrears on the account.

    Eir you need to fix your processes, you cannot ring you without an account, so how can i sort out my issues, this is a joke of a situation ans is so Eir

    Thanks for the details, Catdob.

    I've looked into your account and can see that you've been charged for the modem. I've disputed the charges and now there is no outstanding balance on your account.
